  • The leading solution for OT service providers
  • Access your site when offline
  • Upgrade equipment remotely/offline
  • Protect your production site from cyberattacks

Solution overview

Advenica Remote Access Device is a hardware unit combined with a software platform that enables you to reach any device, out-of-band, without exposing sensitive equipment or endpoints to the internet.

Whether you need KVM, Terminal, or IP-based access, this is the solution for you. This highly versatile and portable device allows you to easily create a bridge between your OT or IT equipment and a remote specialist.
Plug in the device and establish an immediate, encrypted remote access tunnel to the equipment without exposing the network. If you have an air-gap it will remain intact.

We now sleep easier at night knowing that we can access our manufacturing sites if they would be attacked from a cyber security threat and taken offline. This will save us invaluable time, resources and money.”

– Swedish Facility Owner

The Problem:

One of the most common challenges for facility owners and manufacturers today is when equipment lack remote access due to it being offline, requiring special connectivity (USB, serial) or has a lack of session control. It can also be of legacy equipment (Windows XP and similar) or have non-compliant workarounds invisible to IT & cyber.

The Solution:

With Advenica’s Remote Access Device you can add an instant layer of secure control around your site. It offers ad-hoc remote access, where and when needed. It also offers support of 3rd party needs such as tunnelling, IP/USB/Serial or even KVM access, in addition to simple user administration.

Two authentication modes

1. Attended access – one time access opened from site

Requires a physical press on the hardware device to generate a secure authorization code (OTP). This guarantees that only on-site personnel can authorize remote connections.

2. Unattended access – establish the connection remotely

Unattended Access through the Cloud Service Manager, utilising default multi-factor authentication and a mobile app for user identity verification. No on-site personnel required.

Benefits with the Remote Access Device:

  • Portable: Small form factor and built-in battery allow users to easily move remote access to a single endpoint or a network of endpoints.
  • Secure: Built on Zero Trust principles, ensuring Least Privileges, Access Control, and Audit Log.
  • Versatile: A wide variety of I/O options enabling connections to an extensive range of devices.
  • Clientless: Plug-and-play solution requiring no software installation on the endpoint, network, or technician’s computer.
  • Out-of-Band: Built-in LTE connection ensures remote access is isolated from the network.
  • Offline: Whether utilizing LTE, WiFi, or LAN, the internet connection is not shared with the endpoint and will remain offline during remote access.
