Trafikverket signs a three year agreement

The Swedish Transport Administration (Trafikverket) signs a three year agreement with Advenica and place an initial ZoneGuard order of 1.9 MSEK

Advenica, the Swedish supplier of cybersecurity solutions, has won a framework agreement for a period of three years in combination with an initial order of 1.9 MSEK from Trafikverket. The order is an important breakthrough within the business area Enterprise Solutions and the industry Critical Infrastructure.

Trafikverkets order includes the SecuriCDS ZoneGuard platform to a value of 1.9 MSEK and is proof for Advenica’s capability to support government agencies and enterprises in their digitizing process. The order will be delivered start in September 2017 and be finished Q4 2017.

“We are very pleased that Trafikverket chooses our cybersecurity platform for such an important part within critical infrastructure. It is a very complex task to connect different suppliers and solutions, while maintaining secure information exchange. With our solutions, organisations can meet their digitizing needs without jeopardizing information security”, says Rune Bengtsson, VP Sales Enterprise, Advenica AB.

Most cybersecurity solutions on the market are based on preventing unauthorized individuals from conducting unapproved activities. Contrary to that approach, Advenica´s ZoneGuard is specifically designed to interconnect separated IT-systems in a secure manner. By allowing information to be exchanged according to a well-defined policy, it simplifies for the user to improve information security, without lowering requirements for functionality. Besides preventing most cyberthreats, ZoneGuard also removes the risk of unauthorized information exchange due to human error.
