Critical infrastructure relies on IT-systems for control, monitoring and operation, and industrial control systems are often critical to the functioning of our modern society. To increase security, critical infrastructure operations need to isolate the various ICS/SCADA domains within the architecture and only allow specifically selected information to be transmitted in a secure and controlled manner.
